Liman Declares He Won't Withdraw from Nasarawa Governorship Race

Hassan Liman, a senior advocate and governorship aspirant for the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Nasarawa State, has firmly stated that he will not step down from the governorship race. This declaration came in response to inquiries about potential withdrawal in favor of another aspirant, Aliyu Wadada, who is preferred by the current governor, Abdullahi Sule.

Liman addressed stakeholders in Lafia, the state capital, asserting that he has the constitutional right to contest and that no pressure will compel him to withdraw. He emphasized the importance of ensuring a free, fair, and credible primary election scheduled for Thursday, adhering to the party's guidelines.

Liman also noted that there is no division within the APC and reiterated that every aspirant has the right to participate in the electoral process, as outlined in the Electoral Act.
