Nasarawa ADP Candidate Christopher Mamman Reveals Agenda

Mr. Christopher Mamman, the governorship candidate of the Action Democratic Party (ADP) in Nasarawa state, unveiled a seven-point agenda on September 17, 2026, aimed at tackling insecurity, unemployment, poverty, and inadequate public services in preparation for the 2027 election. During a briefing in Lafia, he described the blueprint as a roadmap for economic relief, enhanced welfare, stronger security, and responsive governance.

Mamman appealed to voters for their support, assuring them of improved social amenities and living conditions. He emphasized prioritizing rural communities through investments in security, infrastructure, agriculture, and grassroots governance, alongside a commitment to affordable mass housing development.

Mamman stated that his administration would collaborate with security agencies, traditional rulers, community leaders, vigilante groups, and local governments to bolster community-based security structures. He expressed confidence in his ability to alleviate poverty and develop the Nasarawa economy by leveraging the state's natural resources and human expertise.
