Nasarawa Amazons Awarded N45 Million for Cup Victory

Nasarawa Amazons were awarded a total cash prize of N45 million for their victory in the 2026 Women President Federation Cup. The announcement was made by the state governor, Abdullahi Sule, during a ceremony held in Lafia.

The players of Nasarawa Amazons will receive N25 million, while the technical and management team will be awarded N15 million. Additionally, the supporters club will receive N5 million in recognition of the team's success.

The state government also provided personal cash donations of $1,000 each to Hembafan Ayatsea, who was named the Most Valuable Player of the Women’s FA Cup, and Udoka Unachukwu, who was recognized as the Best Goalkeeper of the competition. Furthermore, each of the other 34 players will receive $500.

The Nasarawa Amazons triumphed over Heartland Queens in the final, winning 5-6 on penalties in Asaba.
