Sule Critiques Colleagues on Achievements in Nasarawa

On Wednesday, Nasarawa State Governor Abdullahi Sule criticized his colleagues for presenting salary payments and road constructions as significant achievements. Speaking at the 59th inaugural lecture at Nasarawa State University, Keffi, he stressed that leadership should focus on innovative solutions that directly impact citizens' lives.

Amid growing public scrutiny, Sule pointed out that citizens demand tangible improvements in living conditions. He cited his administration's efforts to address recurring challenges, such as rebuilding markets prone to fire outbreaks and providing financial assistance to affected traders.

He mentioned a support scheme ranging from N2 million to N10 million for traders whose markets were burnt. Additionally, he discussed initiatives to tackle flooding in Auta near Keffi and the importance of improving internal revenue for infrastructure projects.

Emmanuel Dandaura warned about the erosion of public trust due to poor alignment with community performance.
