Stakeholders Endorse Prof. Haruna for Nasarawa Governorship

In Nasarawa State, stakeholders are endorsing Prof. Moham Sani Haruna, the former Executive Vice Chairman of the National Agency for Science and Engineering Infrastructure (NASENI), as a candidate to succeed Governor Abdullahi Sule in the 2027 gubernatorial election.

During a zonal stakeholders' meeting held in Lafia, Ibrahim Hamza expressed confidence that Prof. Haruna is the best candidate to sustain Governor Sule's legacy.

Hamza highlighted that both Haruna and Sule share a similar rural background and have extensive professional exposure, which positions them to provide effective leadership. He noted that Prof.

Haruna's career began at Kaduna Polytechnic, where he transformed the institution, and that during his tenure at NASENI, he introduced innovations that opened up opportunities for Nasarawa State. The stakeholders emphasized the importance of continuing Governor Sule's programs and policies, especially in a world increasingly driven by technology, to maintain the state's competitive edge in development.
