Fasai Shuaib Withdraws from Nasarawa Governorship Race

Fasai Shuaib, the former Executive Director and Chief Executive Officer of the National Primary Health Care Development Agency (NPHCDA), announced his withdrawal from the 2027 Nasarawa governorship race during a press conference in Lafia, the state capital, on Monday. He expressed full support for Governor Abdullahi Sule's preferred successor, Ahmad Aliyu Wadada.

Shuaib described his decision as difficult but necessary for party unity and emphasized the need to rally behind the chosen candidate. He acknowledged the sacrifices made during consultations with stakeholders across the 13 local government areas of the state.

Shuaib urged party members to remain calm and united, stressing that his withdrawal does not signify the end of his commitment to serving Nasarawa State. He also called on Nigerians to support the administration of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, highlighting the importance of patience in achieving real change.
