Audu Maikori Claims El-Rufai Organized His Abduction

Audu Maikori, founder and chairman of Choc City Entertainment, alleged that former Kaduna State Governor Nasir El-Rufai organized his abduction in retaliation for a tweet he posted a year prior. In a recent interview on Prime Time on Arise Television, Maikori recounted his troubling experience, stating that El-Rufai had linked his tweet to the deaths of seven individuals.

Although Maikori admitted to making a mistake and deleted the post, he claimed that El-Rufai's actions were an abuse of power, asserting that the governor should not have used his position to orchestrate such an incident. Maikori emphasized that the police were involved in the abduction, and a driver confessed to providing information that led to the incident.

He called for credible journalism and transparency in governance, highlighting the need for support in ensuring a fair account of events in society.
