This decision was conveyed in a statement issued by the Clerk of the National Assembly, Kamoru Ogunlana, who attributed the shift to the need for committees to conclude ongoing budget defense sessions.

The plenary session is now set to reconvene in the chambers at 11:00 AM on March 5, 2026. The leadership of the National Assembly expressed regret for any inconvenience this change may cause to members and urged them to take note of the new date and time.
