APC Dismisses Opposition Claims of Impending Implosion

The All Progressives Congress (APC) has firmly rejected opposition claims suggesting that the party will face an implosion ahead of its national convention. Mr. Sey Oladejo, the spokesman for Lagos State APC, issued a statement on Sunday, asserting that the party remains cohesive and focused on its objectives.

He described the opposition's predictions as misguided and politically motivated, driven by their own internal disarray and electoral uncertainties. Oladejo emphasized that the APC's convention historically serves as a platform for renewal and reconciliation rather than crisis.

He argued that the party's structure is consolidated, while opposition parties are weakened by leadership disputes and defections. He expressed concern over remarks attributed to a former state governor regarding national security, highlighting the need for a credible opposition capable of presenting viable alternatives.

Oladejo concluded that the APC is strategically aligned and advancing towards the next electoral cycle, dismissing any speculation of an impending implosion.
