Alert Group Targets N180bn Loan Disbursement by 2026

Alert Group, led by Group Chief Executive Officer Dr. Olarewaju Kazeem, has announced plans to disburse N180 billion in loans by the financial year 2026, following the acquisition of a national license from the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN).

This license allows the bank to increase its shareholder fund to N5 billion and removes previous geographical limitations, enabling nationwide expansion. The group targets total assets of N250 billion by the end of 2026 and plans to establish at least 15 additional branches across six geopolitical zones.

In the first quarter of the year, the group reported total assets growing from N63 billion to N90 billion, with a gross loan portfolio increase from N50 billion to N64 billion. The bank's shareholder fund rose from N3 billion to N7.7 billion, reflecting investor confidence.

Additionally, the group is launching a savings and investment application called GoldBuck, aiming for 500,000 users by year-end, and dedicating 10% of its loan portfolio to water and sanitation projects.
