National Youth Games Medalists Compete in Dolphin League

The Dolphin Swimming League, a prominent inter-school swimming tournament in Nigeria, will feature medalists from the 2025 National Youth Games (NYG) competing at the Mobolaji Johnson Sport Complex on February 21, 2026. The Lagos State Sports Commission (LSSC), in collaboration with Dynaspro Sport, is hosting this event to honor the athletes and promote swimming.

Oluseyi Oyebod, CEO of Dynaspro, emphasized the importance of LSSC's support and the potential for young athletes to represent Nigeria at the Olympics and World Championships. LSSC's Director General, Lekan Fatodu, praised the consistent impact of the Dolphin Swimming League and highlighted the commitment of the Lagos State government to provide opportunities for young swimmers.

The event aims to identify and nurture new talent, building on Lagos State's outstanding performance at the 2025 NYG in Asaba, where they won a historic 19 gold medals.
