NOWA Association Opens New Classrooms in Lagos School

The Naval Officers Wives Association (NOWA) inaugurated four newly constructed classrooms and a remodeled music laboratory at NOWA Secondary School in Ojo, Lagos. The event, held over the weekend, was led by the association's president, Aisha Abass, who highlighted the renewed commitment to academic excellence within Nigeria's naval community.

During her address, she welcomed guests, including the command school command, Inusa Baba Magwin, and emphasized the importance of quality education as a stabilizing force for children navigating the unique realities of naval life. Abass framed the inauguration as not just a physical structure but a realization of a shared vision to shape young minds.

She acknowledged the support of the Chief of Naval Staff, Vice Admiral Idi Abass, and the parent-teacher association, reaffirming their commitment to educational welfare and empowerment initiatives for naval families.
