This game followed Flagg's historic achievement on Saturday, where he became the first teenager to score 50 points in an NBA game, finishing with 51 points against the Orlando Magic, including 24 points in the fourth quarter.

In the match against the Lakers, Flagg also contributed nine assists and eight rebounds. He is now the first rookie since Allen Iverson in 1997 to record back-to-back games with over 40 points.
