NBA-SLP Secures Osinbajo for 2026 Legal Conference

The Nigerian Bar Association's Section on Legal Practice (NBA-SLP) has announced that former Vice President Yemi Osinbajo will be the keynote speaker for its upcoming 2026 annual conference, which is set to take place from April 7 to April 10 at the National Theatre in Lagos. The conference will focus on the theme "Evolving Trends in Nigerian Legal Practice: A Global Perspective," aiming to provide a strategic platform for Nigerian lawyers amidst a rapidly changing global legal environment.

Folashad Alli, the chairman of the section, emphasized the conference's goal to strengthen professional standards and shape the future trajectory of legal practice in Nigeria. The event will feature a fireside chat with Osinbajo, who will share his extensive experience in governance, law, and public policy.

The conference is expected to attract a diverse range of participants, including jurists, senior advocates, and emerging practitioners. The planning committee includes Abimbola Akeredolu as chairman and Kelechi Obi as co-chairman.
