NCAA Seeks EFCC Support to Combat Aviation Fraud - Joint Initiative Proposed

The Nigerian Civil Aviation Authority (NCAA) sought support from the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) to combat aviation fraud. During a visit to the EFCC headquarters in Abuja, the NCAA Director General highlighted concerns about fraudulent practices affecting aviation safety and transparency.

Issues identified included revenue manipulation by aviation operators, illegal charter operations, and financial irregularities. The EFCC Chairman welcomed the collaboration proposal, suggesting joint initiatives like staff training and intelligence sharing to enhance oversight.

The partnership aims to expose and address financial misconduct in the aviation industry for improved regulatory capacity and safety measures.
