NCAT Secures AABI Accreditation Valid Until 2031

The Nigerian College of Aviation Technology (NCAT) has achieved international accreditation from the Aviation Accreditation Board International (AABI), which is valid from February 19, 2026, to February 28, 2031. This accreditation encompasses major programs such as aircraft maintenance engineering, airframe powerplant, and postgraduate diploma in aviation management.

Dr. Danjuma Ismail, the Rector and Chief Executive of NCAT, emphasized that this achievement will further strengthen the college's resolve to maintain high standards and continue advancing its growth in line with global best practices.

Established in 1964, NCAT is recognized as one of Africa's premier aviation training institutions, responsible for training pilots, air traffic controllers, and various aviation professionals. The college operates six training schools, including a flight school and an aircraft maintenance engineering school, which are uniquely co-located to provide comprehensive training.
