Adedigba Reflects on Telecom Transformation at NCC Retirement

Ismail Adedigba, who served as the Director of Research and Development at the Nigerian Communications Commission (NCC) for over three decades, expressed his views on the significant transformation of Nigeria's telecom industry since he joined in 1995. During his retirement party held in Abuja, Adedigba shared his experiences and the lessons learned from various roles within the NCC, including internal audits, finance, zonal operations, and consumer protection initiatives.

He emphasized that public service is a sacred trust and urged civil servants to prioritize integrity, continuous learning, and public interest over personal gain. Adedigba stated, "Integrity is your greatest asset," and encouraged his colleagues to invest in personal and professional development.

He concluded by stressing that success should be measured by the impact on lives and the legacy left behind, rather than just titles attained.
