Nigeria Cricket Federation and Head Coach Steve Tikolo Part Ways After Three-Year Tenure

The Nigeria Cricket Federation (NCF) has announced the departure of Steve Tikolo, the senior men's national team head coach and high-performance manager, after a three-year tenure. Tikolo's exit, by mutual agreement, comes after nearly 40 months of service where he played a key role in improving the team's professional discipline, structure, and leadership.

Under Tikolo's guidance, Nigeria's men's team rose in the ICC T20 rankings from 42nd to 37th, becoming more competitive across West and East Africa. NCF President, Dr.

Uyi Akpata, praised Tikolo's commitment and dedication, acknowledging his outstanding cultural discipline, work ethic, and passion. The federation expressed sincere appreciation for Tikolo's unwavering dedication over the past three years and highlighted his positive impact on the team.
