NDC Launches Campaigns for 2027 General Elections

The Nigeria Democratic Congress (NDC) has officially commenced its zonal campaigns in preparation for the 2027 general elections, following the election timetable released by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC). In a statement signed by National Publicity Secretary Osa Director, the NDC instructed its candidates for presidential, National Assembly, governorship, and State Assembly elections to begin immediate consultations and engagements with constituents.

The party plans to inaugurate various campaign committees soon and has directed state and local chapters to develop local campaign itineraries. The NDC emphasizes that all campaigns must be issue-based and free from violence.

Additionally, the party is in discussions with INEC regarding a modification of its logo and has advised candidates to continue using the existing logo, which features the two-finger victory sign, until the new logo is officially adopted. This marks the beginning of the NDC's nationwide campaign activities as political parties gear up for the upcoming elections.
