NDC Celebrates Candidates' Credentials Publication by INEC

The Nigeria Democratic Congress (NDC) announced that the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has published the names and credentials of its candidates for the 2027 general elections, which the party described as a significant milestone in its electoral preparations. The NDC congratulated its candidates, emphasizing that they were selected based on competence, integrity, and capacity.

Among the candidates are Peter Gregory Obi, the party's presidential candidate, and Sen. Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso, the vice-presidential candidate.

The party plans to launch a campaign called #MeetOurCandidates to introduce its candidates to the public and showcase their achievements. The publication of candidates' particulars by INEC is a statutory step in the election timetable, allowing public inspection and raising concerns as necessary.

This announcement follows the NDC's successful access to INEC's candidate nomination portal, which had previously faced administrative delays.
