NDC Launches Campaign for 2027 Elections, Sets Directives

The Nigeria Democratic Congress (NDC) has officially launched its campaign for the 2027 general elections, instructing its candidates to commence consultations, sensitization, and grassroots campaigns. This directive was issued in a statement by Osa Director, the NDC National Publicity Secretary, on a Friday.

The party plans to inaugurate various campaign committees for the presidential, National Assembly, governorship, and State House of Assembly elections. Candidates are urged to collaborate with party stakeholders at all levels to organize their campaign activities.

The NDC emphasized that campaigns should focus on introducing candidates to voters, strengthening grassroots structures, and communicating the party's message. The party also instructed its state and local structures to prepare campaign schedules and reiterated that all campaigns must be issue-based and free from violence and abusive language.

Additionally, the NDC addressed the use of its logo, instructing members to continue using the existing logo featuring the two-finger victory sign until administrative issues regarding a modified logo are resolved.
