NDC Welcomes High-Profile Defectors from APC, PRP, NNPP

The Nigerian Democratic Congress (NDC) has recently received a wave of high-profile defectors from the All Progressives Congress (APC), People's Redemption Party (PRP), and New Nigeria Peoples Party (NNPP). Notable figures among the defectors include former presidential candidates Peter Obi and Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso, as well as former House of Representatives member Ehiozuwa Johnson Agbonayinma, who resigned from the APC.

Babatunde Alli, the former deputy national chairman of the PRP, and M. O.

M. Sani Yahaya, the 2023 governorship candidate for the NNPP in Taraba State, also joined the NDC.

During the reception in Abuja, Agbonayinma voiced concerns about the state of the nation and described the NDC as a credible platform for national renewal. Alli emphasized the need for youth participation in politics, while Yahaya pledged grassroots mobilization for the NDC.

NDC leader Seriake Dickson expressed confidence in the party's vision for inclusive governance.
