NDDC Donates Medical Equipment to Rivers Health Center

The Niger Delta Development Commission (NDDC) donated medical equipment to the Model Primary Healthcare Center in Orogbum Community, Port Harcourt Local Government Area, Rivers State. This initiative is part of NDDC's efforts to strengthen healthcare infrastructure and improve access to quality healthcare in the Niger Delta region.

Seledi Thompson Wakama, NDDC Director of Corporate Affairs, announced the donation during the handover ceremony, which was attended by NDDC Managing Director Dr. Samuel Ogbuku.

Ogbuku emphasized the critical need for functional healthcare facilities and reiterated the commission's commitment to enhancing healthcare delivery in the region. Dr.

Patience Ezugu, NDDC Director of Education, Health, and Social Services, noted that the donation was aimed at equipping healthcare institutions with the necessary tools and resources. Dr.

Chituru Adel, Executive Secretary of the Rivers State Primary Healthcare Management Board, expressed gratitude for the donation, describing it as a significant boost to the facility's capacity to provide quality healthcare services.
