NDDC Ensures Fair Process for Postgraduate Scholarships

The Niger Delta Development Commission (NDDC), led by Managing Director Dr. Samuel Ogbuku, has pledged a transparent and fair selection process for its foreign postgraduate scholarship program, which is intended for individuals from the Niger Delta region.

During a visit to the interview venue in Port Harcourt, Ogbuku emphasized that the process would be free from bias and compromise. Dr.

Patience Ezugwu, Director of Education, Health, and Social Services, expressed gratitude to the interview panel for their diligent work, noting that there were no complaints regarding the process. The scholarship program received 12,277 applications, with 5,986 candidates passing the computer-based test and 2,492 selected for oral interviews.

Chief Godson Ideozu stated that the selection process would ensure that only qualified candidates are chosen. The initiative aims to enhance knowledge and skills among beneficiaries, contributing to the socio-economic development of the Niger Delta region.
