NDDC Empowers 500 Youths with Buses and Tricycles

The Niger Delta Development Commission (NDDC) conducted a training program for 500 youths and distributed 150 minibuses and 200 tricycles in Cross River State as part of its empowerment initiative. Dr.

Samuel Ogbuku, the Managing Director of NDDC, emphasized the importance of skill acquisition and capacity enhancement during the event held in Calabar. The program is aligned with President Bola Tinubu's "Renew Hope" agenda, aiming to create opportunities for individuals to build better futures for themselves and their families.

NDDC's Executive Director of Projects, Dr. Victor Antai, assured beneficiaries that the initiative would improve their livelihoods.

He urged the people of Cross River State to support the administration's agenda. The distribution took place at the U J Esuen Sport Stadium, where Senator Asuquo Ekpenyong expressed commitment to eradicating poverty and creating job opportunities in the constituency.

The program encourages beneficiaries to utilize their training effectively and maintain the vehicles properly.
