NDDC Expands Interventions to Empower Niger Delta Communities

The Niger Delta Development Commission (NDDC), under the leadership of Managing Director Dr. Samuel Ogbuku, has reaffirmed its commitment to expanding interventions throughout the Niger Delta region.

This initiative aims to empower individuals, enhance livelihoods, and promote sustainable development. During a presentation of relief materials in Omuma, Ukwa West Local Government Area, Abia State, Ogbuku emphasized the need to address economic challenges faced by households in the region.

The statement, issued from Port Harcourt, highlighted the NDDC's focus on improving community welfare through targeted support programs. Rising living costs have significantly pressured households, particularly in rural areas, prompting the commission to implement interventions that provide relief to vulnerable populations.

Dr. Anderson Ukeh, representing the NDDC in Abia State, urged community members to maintain peace and cooperate with government agencies to benefit from these initiatives.

The event also saw commendations from Elder Felix Nwogu for the NDDC's responsive actions to community requests for assistance.
