NDLEA Arrests Businessman with Cocaine Hidden in Private Parts at Lagos Airport

The NDLEA arrested Uch Franklin Onyekwer, a Nigerian businessman based in Brazil, at Lagos airport on January 29, 2026, for hiding cocaine in his body and footwear. He concealed a total of 1.60 kilograms of cocaine, intending to resell it in Nigeria.

Additionally, the agency intercepted significant amounts of cannabis in Niger State and Edo State, leading to the arrest of suspects Andi Chidogu, Kenneth Ogen, Sadiq Olanrewaju, and Shaibu Yusuf. The operations revealed a network involved in drug trafficking across different states in Nigeria.
