NDLEA Seizes 380 Military-Grade Bullets in Kaduna

The National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) intercepted 380 rounds of military-grade ammunition during operations in Kaduna State on May 24. The suspect, 30-year-old Sunusi Musa, was allegedly transporting the ammunition from Katsina State.

Alongside Musa, 38-year-old Salomi Ezekiel was arrested after the agency seized 100 jumbo bags of skunk weighing 1.246 tons at their residence in the Gonin Gora area. Additionally, on May 26, the NDLEA discovered a shipment containing three kilograms of ketamine and 199 grams of MDMA concealed in a water purification machine sent from the Netherlands.

On May 27, a separate operation in Niger State led to the arrest of 46-year-old Godwin Zakka, who was found with 457 kilograms of skunk. The NDLEA continues its nationwide campaign against drug abuse, with Chairman Brig Gen Buba Marwa (retd) commending the efforts of personnel involved in these operations.
