Ndume Visits Maiduguri Bomb Blast Victims, Urges Security

Senator Mohammed Ali Ndume, representing Borno South Senatorial District, visited victims of a bomb blast that occurred in Maiduguri, which resulted in 20 fatalities and over 100 injuries. The victims are currently receiving treatment at the University of Maiduguri Teaching Hospital (UMTH).

Ndume, who was in Saudi Arabia performing Umrah at the time of the attack, expressed his condolences and offered words of comfort to the victims and their families. He emphasized the need for resilience in the face of adversity and urged the community to remain steadfast.

During his visit, he acknowledged the profound loss suffered by the families and the community. Medical personnel at UMTH, led by the doctor in charge, briefed Ndume on the patients' conditions, assuring him that the injured were responding positively to treatment due to prompt medical intervention.

Additionally, Ndume provided financial assistance to the victims' families to alleviate their immediate medical expenses.
