Nearpai Launches AI-Powered Soft POS for Energy Access

Nearpai, led by CEO Victor Daniyan, has announced the expansion of its AI-powered soft POS system designed to improve energy access and financial inclusion for companies in emerging markets. The system addresses challenges faced by households and small businesses that cannot afford upfront payments for electric solar systems and electric vehicle charging.

Traditional banking infrastructures often fail to support the micro-transaction models required for renewable energy. Nearpai's soft POS system allows energy providers to use smartphones as payment terminals, eliminating the need for specialized hardware and complex manual coding.

The system includes an AI-driven credit layer that analyzes transaction data to create alternative credit scores for individuals in underserved sectors, facilitating access to essential energy products. Nearpai's technology also supports electric mobility by acting as a payment interface for EV charging stations and battery swap outlets, enabling better load management and dynamic pricing.
