Championship Manager of the Season Nominees Announced

Frank Lampard, the manager of Coventry City, Alex Neil of Millwall, Sergej Jakirovic of Hull City, and Kim Hellberg of Middlesbrough have been shortlisted for the Championship Manager of the Season award. The winner will be revealed on Sunday, April 19, 2025, during the English Football League's annual award ceremony in London.

Lampard's Coventry City is currently aiming to secure a four-point lead to promote to the Premier League for the first time in 25 years. Hellberg has maintained Middlesbrough's position within the automatic promotion places since taking over after Rob Edwards' departure in November.

Neil has led Millwall to thrive this season, winning 21 games, while Jakirovic has guided Hull City to a playoff position in his first campaign after escaping relegation last season. Additionally, four players have been nominated for the Championship Player of the Season award, and there is a shortlist for the Championship Young Player of the Season featuring three 21-year-old midfielders.
