NELFUND: Nigerian Lawmaker Speaks on Tinubu's Education Policy, Makes Bold Prediction

Nigerian lawmaker Temitope Adedeji Adewale expressed optimism about achieving full literacy in Nigeria within the next six years under Bola Tinubu's education policy. Adewale, representing a Lagos state constituency, praised the government's efforts to keep young people engaged and productive, particularly through initiatives like the Nigerian Education Loan Fund (NELFUND).

Adewale highlighted that over half a million students have applied for education loans through NELFUND, indicating a strong desire for higher education in the country. He also mentioned the distribution of free General Certificate Education (GCE) forms and scholarships to students, as well as the launch of the Tertiary Institution Staff Support Fund (TISSF) to enhance the welfare and professional development of academic staff.
