NEMA Warns Public After Website Breach and Fraud Alerts

The National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA) of Nigeria has alerted the public about an unauthorized breach of its official website, which has raised concerns about the dissemination of false information. In a statement issued on Friday, NEMA confirmed that it has already commenced technical measures to rectify the security breach and restore normal operations on its platform.

The agency cautioned the public against relying on any suspicious content or financial requests that may appear on the compromised website. NEMA strongly advised the general public to disregard any misleading information or unauthorized announcements that could solicit money.
