NERC Urges Compliance Officers in Nigeria's Power Sector to Uphold Industry Standards

The Nigerian Electricity Regulatory Commission (NERC) has urged compliance officers in the electricity supply industry to ensure full adherence to industry standards. At a strategic review session in Abuja, NERC emphasized the importance of complying with operational standards in the power sector.

Notable progress has been acknowledged, with a call for renewed commitment. Key enforcement actions taken between January and November were highlighted, focusing on compliance performance assessment and key performance indicators (KPIs) across the Nigerian Electricity Supply Industry (NESI).

Compliance officers were urged to reinforce NERC's commitment to promoting accountability and operational excellence in the power sector.
