Nestlé Nigeria Supports Youth Entrepreneurship at Summit

Nestlé Nigeria reaffirmed its commitment to youth entrepreneurship during the Youth Empowerment Summit 2026 held in Abuja. Victoria Uwadoka, Head of Corporate Communications and Public Affairs at Nestlé Nigeria, highlighted that entrepreneurship is a crucial tool for tackling unemployment and driving sustainable economic growth, especially as young people constitute 70% of Nigeria's population.

Uwadoka stressed the importance of creating an enabling environment for young entrepreneurs to innovate and succeed despite uncertainties. She expressed pleasure in participating in the summit, which serves as a platform for empowering youth to transform ideas into successful enterprises.

The summit, organized by Activ Success International Foundation, marks the ninth consecutive year of the Youth Empowerment and Entrepreneurship Program (YEPP). Uwadoka acknowledged the contributions of various partners, including government and private sector organizations, in promoting innovative enterprises among Nigerian youth.

She expressed optimism for the future, stating that the talents of young people will continue to drive Nigeria forward.
