New FCC Commissioner Nnoli Promises Reforms for Anambra

Dr. Nkechi Nnoli, the newly appointed commissioner of the Federal Character Commission, visited the commission's office in Awka, Anambra State, on Wednesday.

She pledged to implement significant reforms aimed at strengthening the commission's operations and ensuring fair federal representation for the state. Nnoli emphasized that the current leadership is determined to rectify the shortcomings of past administrations and achieve the commission's objectives.

She expressed concern over the poor conditions of the commission's office, which is currently located in an isolated area facing severe challenges such as inadequate security and electricity issues. Nnoli highlighted the importance of public sensitization regarding the role of the Federal Character Commission, aiming to enhance citizens' understanding of its principles and responsibilities.

She assured that the commission would work diligently to ensure Anambra State receives its fair share of federal opportunities and benefits, aligning with President Bola Tinubu's vision for equitable distribution of federal resources.
