New Katsina CP Ali Fage Assumes Duty, Promises Security

Ali Fage has officially taken over as the new Commissioner of Police (CP) for Katsina State, a position he assumed on the 27th of October 2023. His deployment follows the directive from Inspector General of Police Tunji Disu.

Fage, who hails from the local government area of Kano State, is a graduate with a Bachelor of Science degree in Political Science from Bayero University, Kano. He has over three decades of experience in the Nigeria Police Force, having served in various capacities including Officer in Charge (OC) of the Mobile Squad, State Paymaster, and Divisional Police Officer (DPO) in multiple states such as Sokoto, Kaduna, and Jigawa.

His previous roles also include serving as the Deputy Command in Lagos State. In his new role, CP Ali Fage has reaffirmed his commitment to maintaining peace and security in Katsina State, emphasizing the importance of collaboration with relevant stakeholders to address crime through innovative strategies.
