Ogun FRSC Commander Implements Zero Tolerance for Extortion

Oludar Ogunjobi has been appointed as the new sector commander of the Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) in Ogun State. In his inaugural address, he pledged to enforce discipline within the command and adopt a zero-tolerance stance against extortion. Ogunjobi highlighted the significance of professionalism, integrity, and teamwork, stating that the command's success relies on collective efforts rather than individual achievements. He warned against indiscipline, including absenteeism and improper dress, which will not be tolerated, and emphasized that disciplinary actions will be enforced by the provost. Ogunjobi described extortion as unacceptable and contrary to the core values of the FRSC, urging officers to maintain professionalism in their interactions with the public. He also outlined plans to strengthen collaboration with stakeholders to enhance road safety management across the state, aiming for a 10% reduction in road traffic fatalities and injuries as part of the 2026 corporate strategic goals.
