FRSC Convicts 25 Traffic Offenders in Ogun State

The Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) successfully secured the convictions of 25 traffic offenders in Ogun State, as announced on Wednesday. This action took place during a mobile court session held at the Ogun State Sector Command headquarters.

The court proceedings were presided over by Chief Magistrate O.T. Odubanjo, with Afolabi Odunsi serving as the spokesperson for the state sector command.

A total of 46 offenses were documented, primarily involving critical safety breaches such as violations of speed limit devices, driving without a valid license, overloading, and seatbelt infractions. The FRSC emphasized that the mobile court is a vital component of their enforcement strategy aimed at reducing road traffic crashes and fatalities.

Oludar Ogunjobi, the command's representative, reiterated the importance of maintaining a zero-tolerance approach towards traffic violations to ensure the safety of lives and property on the roads.
