New VC Prof. Oladipo Launches TASFUED's Strategic Roadmap

On Tuesday, Prof. Samuel Oladipo was inaugurated as the sixth Vice Chancellor of Tai Solarin Federal University of Education (TASFUED).

During his investiture, he unveiled a six-year strategic roadmap aimed at enhancing academic excellence, digital transformation, and financial sustainability. The university, established in 2005 and transitioning to a federal university in 2025, aspires to rank among Nigeria's top 25 universities and within the top 3,000 globally by 2031.

Prof. Oladipo emphasized the importance of a robust research ecosystem, digital innovation, and improved welfare for staff and students.

He pledged to enhance internet connectivity, upgrade facilities, and expand academic programs. The roadmap, tagged "S T R W N Agenda," aims to drive sustainable development and strengthen collaborations with industries and alumni.

Prof. Oladipo expressed his deep sense of responsibility and honor in leading the institution, which is named after the late educationist Dr.

Tai Solarin, a symbol of integrity and commitment to educational advancement in Nigeria.
