Ondo Varsity VC Commits to Improving Infrastructure

Prof. Tomola Obamuyi was recently appointed as the Vice Chancellor of Adekunle Ajasin University in Akungba Akoko, Ondo State, by Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa.

In his commitment to tackle the institution's infrastructure deficit, Obamuyi outlined plans to implement innovative and sustainable funding strategies to support maintenance and development across the campus. He assumed office last week and has already begun inspecting facilities to identify areas needing improvement.

Obamuyi emphasized the importance of providing practical solutions to the university's challenges and has engaged with principal officers, heads of departments, and stakeholders to outline a vision for the institution's development. He set deadlines for relevant units to address identified concerns and expressed confidence that the measures introduced would yield visible improvements in the university's overall infrastructure within a short timeframe.
