APC South West Chair Dr. Kekemeke Pledges 2027 Victory

Dr. Isaac Kekemeke was newly elected as the chairman of the APC South West Zone during a zonal congress held at the Mobolaji Johnson Arena in Lagos. In his victory speech on Wednesday, he pledged that the region would deliver the highest number of votes for Bola Tinubu in the 2027 general elections.

Kekemeke expressed confidence in the party's strength across the South West and assured that the APC would secure victories in the upcoming governorship elections in Osun, Ekiti, and Oyo states. He promised to improve the performance of the leadership team in these states, aiming to surpass achievements from four years ago.

Lagos State Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu acknowledged the orderly conduct of the congress, reflecting the region's tradition of mature politics. He commended the discipline of party members and noted the unity demonstrated within the South West.

Hon. Jide Jimoh, chairman of the zonal congress committee, highlighted the South West's reputation as a progressive political bloc in Nigeria.
