NFF President Gusau Receives Football Icon Award

Alhaji Ibrahim Musa Gusau, the President of the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF), was honored with the Football Infrastructure Icon of the Year Award by Blueprint Newspapers on Tuesday afternoon at the Bola Ahmed Tinubu International Conference Centre. The award was presented by His Royal Highness Brigadier General Yahaya Abubakar (Rtd), represented by Alhaji Aliyu Ogo-Onawo.

In his acceptance speech, Gusau expressed gratitude for the recognition and emphasized his commitment to developing Nigerian football. He stated that the award serves as a renewed call to service and a reminder of the responsibility to build a stronger future for the sport.

Gusau highlighted the importance of grassroots and youth development programs and the need to create opportunities for players, coaches, and administrators. He affirmed that with determination and support from the football community, they would work towards making Nigerian football a source of pride and inspiration for future generations.

The ceremony was attended by various dignitaries, including politicians and industry leaders.
