NLO Supports Gusau's Re-election as NFF President

Shola Ogunnowo, the Chief Operating Officer of the Nigeria Nationwide League (NLO), publicly endorsed Alhaji Ibrahim Musa Gusau for a second term as President of the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF). During a WhatsApp interview on the Sports World Platform, hosted by sports journalist Sunday Agunbiade and co-host Afonne Chukwuemeka, Ogunnowo praised Gusau's leadership as progressive and essential for the continuity of ongoing reforms in Nigerian football.

He highlighted the stability and growth achieved under Gusau's administration, particularly in grassroots football, league administration, and youth development. Ogunnowo emphasized the importance of sustaining these reforms and urged football administrators, state football associations, clubs, and stakeholders to support Gusau's re-election bid.

He noted the significant achievements of Gusau's tenure, including the construction of a new facility for the national team players, and described Gusau as a "silent achiever." The session also covered the expansion of the Nigeria Nationwide League and the future of domestic football.
