NFF Denies Eric Chelle's Reported Contract Demands

The Nigerian Football Federation (NFF) has publicly dismissed reports alleging that Super Eagles head coach Eric Chelle made fresh demands regarding his contract and team management. According to the viral report, Chelle, who reportedly earns $50,000 per month, requested a new contract that would include a monthly salary of $130,000, provisions for a private SUV, chauffeur, security details, guaranteed 24-hour power supply, a fully furnished office with equipment, business class flight tickets for his wife, and economy class for his two children.

Additionally, the report claimed Chelle sought greater autonomy in selecting players for the national team and the right to select international friendly matches, as well as initiatives for youth development and scouting. However, when approached for comments, the NFF's director of communication refuted these claims, stating that the reports were not accurate and did not reflect the leadership's stance.
