NFF Reviews Eric Chelle's Contract Proposal Amid Talks

The Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) is currently reviewing a fresh contract proposal for Super Eagles head coach Eric Chelle, who has a year left on his existing deal. The proposal includes a significant salary adjustment from $50,000 to $130,000 per month and covers various requests such as private security, accommodation, and steady power supply.

The NFF's technical committee will examine the proposal before it is presented to the full board for consideration. This review comes after Nigeria's impressive performance in the 2025 AFCON held in Morocco, where the team finished third, going unbeaten in seven matches and scoring 14 goals, the highest tally in a single AFCON campaign.

NFF President has expressed a desire to continue working with Chelle, while reports indicate interest from Tunisia, offering a salary believed to be around $100,000 per month. Chelle recently ended his relationship with former agent Abraham Sidib and signed with Wilder Sport.
