NFF Pursues Kayod Micheal for National Team Commitment

The Nigerian Football Federation (NFF) is actively scouting forward Kayod Micheal to commit to the national team, as reported by ESPN. NFF officials have arranged a face-to-face meeting with Micheal in London next month during the Unity Cup, signaling Nigeria's intent to secure his international allegiance.

The 21-year-old forward's agent, however, is reportedly resistant to the move, preferring that Micheal continues his development within Italy. The agent expressed confidence in the ability of Italy's interim coach, Silvio Baldini, who has previously worked with Micheal at the U21 level, to provide him with a senior national team call-up.

The upcoming meeting in London will be pivotal in determining whether Kayod Micheal will don the Super Eagles jersey and continue his international career with Nigeria.
