NGF Praises Successful Rescue of Oyo Abducted Students

The Nigerian Governors' Forum (NGF) expressed its relief and congratulations regarding the successful rescue of abducted schoolchildren and teachers from Oriir community in Oyo State. In a statement signed by the NGF Chairman, Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq, who is also the Governor of Kwara State, the forum congratulated President Bola Tinubu on the outcome of the rescue operation.

The operation followed a month of high-level coordination, intelligence gathering, and disciplined execution by security forces. The NGF rejoiced with the families of the victims, emphasizing the importance of the collaboration between the Oyo State government and the federal government in achieving this success.
