NGO and FRSC Reward Students in Road Safety Initiative

An NGO collaborated with the Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) to present gifts to exceptional students during a lecture series focused on morals and road safety at Gwarimpa, Life Camp, Abuja. The initiative, coordinated by Chikezi Allwel Chinkata, aims to instill basic moral and civic knowledge in students to combat juvenile delinquency.

During the event, Laraba J. Shanwa, representing the FRSC Life Camp Command, urged students to apply the lessons learned about road safety and encouraged parents to ensure compliance with road safety guidelines, particularly concerning underage driving.

David S. Peter, Deputy Route Commander, expressed optimism that the lectures would help reduce accidents involving students outside of school.

The program received appreciation from school representatives, including Franci Nnananwa Nwachukwu and Ajayi Abubakar, who thanked the NGO and FRSC for their educational efforts.
