NIA Honors Past Leaders with Service Recognition Awards

The Nigerian Insurers Association (NIA) held a ceremony to honor its past leaders with Service Recognition Awards, acknowledging their significant contributions to the insurance industry over the past 55 years. The current NIA chairman, Kunle Ahm, welcomed retired members of the association's council, which was established in 1971.

He highlighted the association's role as a collective voice for the insurance industry, noting its achievements in strengthening the sector and fostering collaboration among stakeholders. Ahm emphasized the importance of building public trust in insurance as vital for national development.

During the event, Idri Shuaibu, Managing Director of Time Line Consult Ltd, delivered a lecture titled "Service as the Cornerstone of Leadership," discussing the interpretation of leadership and its impact on public institutions and civil society organizations.
